Samsung Gear S2 Update: Newest smartwatch is Apple Watch's best match? Release date will be in October

By

Samsung has introduced its newest smartwatch at the IFA gadget show in Berlin. The Samsung Gear S2 has two variants, the sporty type and the traditional-looking one. Those who were present at the IFA have witnessed how could it possibly be the best match for Apple Watch.

The wearable crowd and the Android users are excited to get a hold of the latest high-tech smartwatch offered by Samsung. A lot of people have good reviews to say about this genius discovery. Since the photos of Samsung Gear S2 were released, spectators can no longer wait for it to come out in the market. It is expected that Gear S2 will be available in October.

The Gear S2 which has a sportier appearance uses proprietary watchbands while the classic one that has a leather band can be interchanged for a standard 20 mm size band. Samsung is now also fully committed to its own Tizen operating system. The new smartwatches are compatible with Android phones, its own and other Android models. The only main requirement is that the device is running an Android 4.4 OS or higher.

According to GizMag, "not only do the straps differ between the two versions, but the way they attach to the body also varies (it disappears into the body on the standard model). The design of the bezel is also simpler on the standard model, with a smooth aesthetic as opposed to the ridged look on the classic. The design of both versions is clean and appealing. It's easily the best-looking smartwatch that Samsung has ever made (and it's made quite a few)." The leather and rubber bands also feel comfortable and the smartwatch is not too bulky.

Function and fashion keeps the wearable game going. Thus, Samsung has proven that it can invent a promising smartwatch that is both fashionable and functional at the same time.
