Netflix's "House of Cards" TV series is known as one of the most outstanding drama series acquiring different awards under different categories since the first season. Now, the season 4 is already under progress as the release was announced few months ago.
Well, Deadline has confirmed that a new character, Colm Feore, will be appearing in the fourth season. Feore will portray a high-profile role, still unconfirmed whether he is against or in favor of the characters of Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright in the White House drama.
Feore is best known in his role as Donald Menken in the "The Amazing Spider-Man 2". He was also seen in various TV series like "The Borgias".
But, Feore is not the only addition to season four. It has recently been reported that Neve Campbell is joining in. According to a report on Enstars, a younger power couple will be introduced in season four. It is a wild speculation that the "younger power couple" is referred to Campbell's character. Another rumor hinted that Frank might have Campbell as his rival in the next season. Another question here is could Feore be on his side or on her side?
While the release date is still a long wait, fans have been relying on the speculations on what will the power couple, Frank and Claire Underwood do or what is going to happen next. An article on International Business Times hinted that not only the couple will face new rivals but also their marriage will totally disintegrate, according to the showrunner
"A lot of the strength of the show is based on the strength of that marriage. But as soon as we began to explore that, we realized there was no turning back," creator Beau Willimon told the Hollywood Reporter following the release of Season 3. "We also realized we'd laid the groundwork in the previous two seasons for this conflict between Francis and Claire, and the more we began exploring it, the more inevitable it became. And the more exciting it was for us to travel that emotional terrain."
Rumors about Doug Stamper (Michael Kelly) saying that season 4 will be his last season has also spread. "House of Cards" season 4 will be released in 2016.
