The 100 Season 3: Creator Jason Rothenberg Tweets Clarke's New Look and other major spoilers

Before "The 100"returns for its third season next year, its creator, Jason Rothenberg has been releasing updates and spoilers via his Twitter account. One of these is photo featuring a new look for Clarke (Eliza Taylor). It has fans wondering what this new look can possibly mean for the series.

The photo sparked several speculations foremost of which is that she may have joined another clan. Others guess that Clarke is on an undercover mission that would need her to disguise herself.

At the end of Season 2, Clarke was seen walking away from Camp Jaha in the wake of the Mt. Weather massacre. This may be to escape the trauma and guilt she had in murdering the Weathermen. Reality Today reports that during the last Comic-Con, Eliza Taylor revealed that Clarke will not be handling her situation well and she may even lose it a little.

According to Ibtimes, one of Rothenberg's tweets hinted that viewers will see Clarke indeed going crazy in the new season and will be heading to Polis. The same article revealed some more Season 3 spoiler foremost of which is that there will be a time jump as the new season will start several months after Season 2 left off. Due to Clarke's absence, Bellamy will step up as the new leader of the Star people and he will be given hero status by them.

Meanwhile, Octavia and Lincoln will be having domestic issues. Thelonious Jaha, who went on an exodus to find the fabled City of Light in the past season, will discover something which is much more sinister.

Hypable reports of a new character named Roan to be played by Zach McGowan. The characters of Queen Nia of the Ice Nation and an Arker named Pike (Michael Beach of Sons of Anarchy) will also be added.

No exact season premiere date has been announced yet but it has already been confirmed that The 100 Season 3 will have 16 episodes.
