Tom Brady recently slammed rumours that he and his wife Gisele Bundchen are getting a divorce. Wanting to address the situation once and for all, Tom opened up in an interview on the real status of his marriage. According to the quaterback star, despite going through a rough patch over the last few months, he and his wife are doing fine.
According to a report from People, Tom Brady proved the rumors wrong when he opened up on his marital status in an interview on WEEI 93.7 FM last Tuesday. The 38 year old New England Patriots quarterback star began his statement with "We're in a great place, I'll just say that."
He continued with, "I'm a lucky man. I've been very blessed with support from my family and certainly her, and there's no bigger supporter that I have than her and vice versa. I've been very blessed to have an incredible relationship with my life partner, and I don't think anything will ever get in the way of that."
NESN reported that the quarterback star and his supermodel wife are doing just fine despite recent reports stating that 35 year old Gisele Bundchen was going to divorce her husband of six years amid his Deflategate case. According to different reports, Tom had become 'nasty and irritable' during the Deflategate controversy which led him to being banned from four games at the NFL.
However, as reported by SF GATE, though the case seemed to put a strain on the couple's relationship, both Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen proved the rumours otherwise. The couple was recently spotted in New York City and Boston looking as happy as ever. Gisele also took to Instagram to share a heartwarming picture of her husband and son.
After facing the different trials and rumours, both Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen have stood strong together showing the media that a few bumps along the road won't cause them to separate. The couple that got married in 2009 has two children together and shared custody over Tom's older son from a previous relationship.
