It will be an exciting time for the Griffins when Family Guy returns for its 14th season. Ashton Kutcher will be added to the adult animated series' already impressive list of guest stars.

The sitcom veteran with two iconic shows, "That 70s Show" and "Two and a Half Men", to his credit will reportedly play as himself. Surely, fans are hoping that he will get to be involved with Meg Griffin who is widely known to be voiced by Ashton's wife, Mila Kunis.

"We wrote him some of the most ridiculous dialogue," executive producer Steve Callaghan tells Entertainment Weekly. "He just couldn't have been a nicer guy or a better sport about it."

The Hollywood Reporter reveals the list of upcoming guest stars include John Mellencamp, Ed O'Neill, Glen Close, Kyle Chandler, Cosmos' Neil deGrasse Tyson and Fox Sports pbroadcaster Joe Buck. Past guest stars include Jay Leno, Betty White, Drew Barrymore and Neil Patrick Harris.

Rock and Roll Hall of Famer John Mellencamp will play as himself and will perform some of his original songs including one that pokes fun at himself. He will be seen on the premiere episode. Ed O'Neill of Modern Family will be dropping by Quahog for one episode and will be the voice of Joe Swanson's father.

Steve Callaghan reveals some spoilers in an IB Times report. There will be an entire episode dedicated to Stewie Griffin's nightmares wherein he builds a futuristic machine that will let Brian Griffin travel in his mind while he sleeps. The two will get hooked on Adderall after Stewie is told he has ADHD.

Chris Griffin's sending of x-rated pictures will get him in trouble and added to the sex offender registry. Meanwhile, Mayor West is forced to raise the legal drinking age to 50 after Peter's drunken meltdown.

Season 14 of Family Guy premieres on September 27 on Fox.
