The film Steve Jobs has been earning praise for its rough cut version shown in recent film festivals. Steve Wozniak, Jobs' Apple co-founder, gave the movie and Michael Fassbender a glowing commendation, saying that it felt like he was watching the late Apple CEO. Danny Boyle, director of Steve Jobs, said that Jobs is the kind of person Shakespeare would write about.

In an interview with BBC News, Wozniak was more than impressed with the film, with its "great acting" and "great directing." Fassbender, who plays the titular role, captured the essence of the brutal and brilliant Jobs-"his brain, his head, the way he worked, how did he think, how did he act with people."

According to CNN Money, Wozniak added that the movie portrayed what it Jobs was really like inside, and how it was like to be around the infamous CEO. While often in media videos and photos, people have no idea of Jobs' "dealings with people close to him." He also thinks that the unfamiliar portrayal of Steve Jobs. in the movie is "shocking and amazing."

Many reviews, and even Wozniak pointed out that the film succeeds inmaking them want to know and feel what it's like inside Jobs' head. Danny Boyle explained possible why people are so fascinated with Steve Jobs. He thought the late Apple CEO was "the kind of brilliant, flawed character that Shakespeare would have relished writing about."

Being that as the case, it is no surprise that Fassbender delivered more than just the essentials of Jobs' character. Unironically, the British actor also stars as Macbeth in the upcoming film adaptation for the Shakespearean play which can be a competition for Jobs' drive, ambition and power.

According to The New York Times , the Steve Jobs film presents another side to Jobs, whose death was mourned by billions around the world. Another Jobs documentary was released "Steve Jobs: The Man in the Machine" by Alex Gibney and leans towards a much more brutal portrayal of the man.

However, just like the Steve Jobs film and the documentary, The New York Times recognized that painting Steve Jobs in black and white versions is just too confining, for the man is "complicated."

Michael Fassbender have received an undeniable surge of rave reviews for his portrayal of this Shakespearean, brutal and brilliant Steve Jobs, tipping him as a frontrunner for the Oscars . What Wozniak said-award winning and realistic-may just be one of the most satisfying compliments a movie-its cast and crew-may receive, moreso since it came from someone who really knew the man.
