Speed Test: iPhone 6 iOS 9 vs. Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Android 5.1.1

By

The upcoming release of Apple's iOS 9 is really fast approaching and many mobile phone enthusiasts are very excited to see the improvement of this version from the latter. The latest iPhone 6 will soon be featuring this new operating system and many avid fans want to see the comparison between iOS 9 and Android 5.1.1, especially when it comes to speed.

Using the speed test, we can now determine which system works much faster. It will help us analyze the differences between the processing units of these two great smartphones carrying different brands.

According to Phones Review, the iPhone 6 is powered up with an A8-dual core processor with 1GB of RAM while its competitor, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is engineered with Exynos 7420 octa-core processor with 4GB of RAM. When it comes to specifications, it seems that Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is way better than the iPhone 6 but we still have to see if a dual core processor boots up faster than an octa-core processor. As Adrianisen showed in his video on YouTube, the Note 5 can easily open up applications but on the other hand, a video made by DroidModderX ROOT Master showed the iPhone 6 is much faster when it comes to restoring the opened applications. It seems that you really don't have to re-open the apps in iPhone 6 whereas in the Note 5, it takes time loading the apps which most likely were closed and you have to re-open them.

Still, it would be better for us to see the final release of the iOS 9 so that we can tell the real score between the two latest operating systems. Let us wait for its upcoming release rumored to be on the 16th of September this year, as TechRadar reports.

Which do you think is the better smartphone and operating system? Let us hear your thoughts in the comments section.
