After the full effect of the beta test on the major software update 3.00 "Kenshin" for PS4, some of the key features were revealed. Last September 1, John Koller announced in Playstation blog how they extended the social capability of the Sony Playstation 4. They added a Now Playing/What's New feature to bring the latest information about your friends and the Favorite Groups was included to the Friends app for easy access to the groups of people you play games with most of the time. Its YouTube live allows PS4 owners to livestream gameplay to YouTube. These livestreams can be viewed across YouTube which includes the latest YouTube Gaming website and mobile app.
Creating a community based on shared interests is made possible in this software update by PS4. Different genres can be discussed and screenshots of your game can be shared through the message board. According to Dualshockers, the new community is highly customized. As a PS4 user, you are within a unique hub for events that will provide updates on activities among your favorite games.
PS4 seems to let the owners choose JPG or PNG format in their new screenshot settings, as noted by Gaming Bolt. This will enable the users to keep or share a sharper and high quality game scenes. The software update have also increased the online storage capacity from 1GB to 10GB for all the PS Plus members to enjoy. A handy usage meter designed to track your available storage capacity together with an Auto-Upload menu can be seen in the Application Saved Data Management.
