Carrie Underwood recently opened up to E! News on how hard it is to raise a child, and be a working mom at the same time. The 32-year-old singer and actress stated in the interview how awkward it can be when you're a mom, especially when it comes to breastfeeding her son in public places.
In a report from Eonline, the team were able to catch up with the busy Carrie Underwood as she attended New York Fashion Week before her very first fashion show for her fitness line 'Calia by Carrie Underwood.' In the interview, the mom of 7-month-old Isaiah Michael admitted becoming a mom means encountering numerous awkward situations.
In another report from Country Music is Love, when asked about breast feeding and pumping, and her recent experiences, the 32-year-old stated, "You learn that awkwardness is part of being a mom." The "American Idol" winner then went on admitting, "I've literally turned my chair around into a corner over on like a side room at a restaurant and pumped there." She also added, "I pumped at a concert once, I was attending somebody else's concert. Awkwardness is a part of being a mom."
According to a report from Financial Express, Underwood also explained how she works out whenever possible, and watches what she eats in order to stay healthy for her young son. The mother of one also mentioned, despite not being able to work out as much as she would like to, she still feels good and healthy which is the main goal for herself especially being as busy as she is.
With her new album "Storyteller" set to be released this coming October, and the debut of her fitness and lifestyle brand "Calia" debuting at the New York Fashion Work, Carrie Underwood can expect a lot more 'awkward experiences' as her schedule is about to get even more hectic.
