Now that the movie "Captain America: Civil War" has wrapped its production, fans all over the world are wondering when the first trailer will be released. And while there's no clue when the trailer will be unveiled, one of the film's stars has shed some light on this highly-anticipated movie.
Speaking with We Got This Covered during the Toronto International Film Festival, Sebastian Stan, who played Bucky Barnes in the movie, revealed details about the intense fight scenes in the next Marvel outing.
"[There's] some brutal fighting, some serious, serious fighting like you haven't really seen before in any of the other films which I'm really proud to say. And a whole lot of character and heart, because there's a lot of people that are in the film, but you're going to get a lot of character from everybody."
It shouldn't really be a surprise if Bucky is on Captain America's side given their history. There are also speculations that he may eventually become the new wielder of the Vibranium shield, although the actor has not confirmed whether he'll be the next Captain America or not.
"I think about that every day. It's so not up to me, and to be honest I really enjoy my job over there, I'm really happy going to work and doing what I do. I love the character that I have. It's up to a lot of different things, and whatever Marvel decides, I'm game"
In related news, Tech Insider mentioned about a concept art leaked on YouTube confirming which heroes will take side with Tony Stark, played by Robert Downey, Jr. or with Captain America, played by Chris Evans. In fact, even Jeremy Renner himself, who played Clint Barton, a.k.a Hawkeye, posted the said art on his Twitter feed.
While it seems like almost every superhero from the Marvel Cinematic Universe is appearing in "Captain America: Civil War", one notable absentee is Dr. Bruce Banner a.k.a Hulk, played by Mark Ruffalo. However, according to Cinema Blend, chances are that General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross, played by William Hurt will be following the comic book footsteps and become the Red Hulk; thus opening the possibility of a fight between him and the Hulk in the film.
While this might be pretty vague for now, fans can always hope for anything. Do you think that the Hulk should really be part of "Captain America: Civil War"? What's your take on Bucky Barnes being the new Captain America? Let us know in the comments section.
"Captain America: Civil War" comes to theaters May 6, 2016.
