Another Moto X smartphone will be released any time soon. Motorola's latest device, Moto X Pure Edition or Moto X Style in some countries, is now available for pre-orders in the United States with price starting at $399.99, unlocked and without a contract.
Moto X Pure Edition features a 5.7-inch Quad HD TFT LCD touchscreen with 1440 by 2560 pixels resolution. It is powered by 1.86 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor and runs on Android 5.1.1 Android Lollipop operating system. A 4K video capture, 21-megapixel rear camera, and 5-megapixel secondary snapper are also included. The handset sports 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB internal memory expandable up to 128GB, 3000mAh battery, and 3GB of RAM.
This latest Motorola smartphone has a good physical design. Its large screen is perfect for playing games and watching videos. The screen is bright and comes with sharp colors as well as crisp high-definition image.
The Moto Display is one great feature of all Motorola devices, which lets the user move the phone and the sleep screen wakes to show the notifications without having to unlock or turn on the phone. Moto X Pure Edition also has enjoyable warm colors and looks very sleek compared to other handsets.
Moreover, the sensitivity of the switches seems on-point. Any light tap of the power button lets the device respond; full activation requires a slightly harder tap. Its back has a nice convex slope that feels comfortable for the user's palm. Moto X Pure Edition's external audio is also impressive, which has a dual speaker stereo and gives sound for videos and games richer depth and range.
According to NeuroGadget, Moto X Pure Edition will get Android 6.0 Marshmallow update soon after its release. The Motorola executives are rumored to making deals with major US carriers, such as AT&T and Verizon, for the upcoming update.
Whether the upgrade to the upcoming firmware is true or not, Moto X Pure Edition is in itself a worthy catch already. It is a stylish phone which you can even customize upon order. Thus, it is one of the great smartphones to look forward to.
