Samsung Electronics started introducing to the market their own smartphone with stylus in 2011 and have been successful especially with their Note series. According to Samsung, the main concept of the S-Pen technology is to say goodbye to the old fashion of writing and say hello to a much easier and more fashionable style. The Note 5 hit the market last month and users are currently satisfied with it.
Meanwhile, Asus has released its own series of ZenFone in the market and gained a lot of patrons. They now have ZenFone 2 as their flagship which is constantly earning very good feedback from their fans.
Let us now compare the key features these two great devices offer. The ZenFone 2, as reported by Neurogadget, uses an IPS technology on its 5.5-inch display having a full HD resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels at 401 ppi. On the other hand, the Note 5 has a 5.7-inch screen size using Samsung's trademark Super AMOLED display with 1440 x 2560 pixels at 518 ppi resolution.
Hardware-wise, Asus' flagship has two variants. The first variant has a 64-bit Intel Atom Z5380 chipset with 2.3 GHz quadcore processor and 4 GB of RAM. The second variant is armored with an Intel Atom Z3560 chipset running at 1.8 GHz and supported with 2GB of RAM. Both models offer options such as 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB of memory and both are expandable up to 64 GB.
The latest Note series is engineered with 64-bit Exynos 7420 octa-core processor with 4 GB of RAM. It has 64 GB or 32 GB of internal memory and is not expandable.
When it comes to the camera features, the Note 5 has proven to be of higher technology than the ZenFone 2. It has a 16-megapixel ISOCELL sensor with OIS, LED Flash, an aperture of f/1.9, Live HDR, while the front-facing camera has a resolution of 5MP and offers the same aperture having a 120-degree wide-angle lens.
The Zenfone 2 has the HDR Technology on its 13-megapixel rear camera lacking OIS and a 5-megapixel front camera that is incredible for selfies.
Battery-wise, they have common features, both of them use a non-removable battery having 3000 mAh capacity that supports fast-charging capability. Only the Note 5 supports wireless charging.
