Nexus 5 2015, Nexus 6 Details Leak: Specs, Release Date and The New Nexus 5X?

By

Android fans are very much excited to see the actual Nexus 5 2015 model and the new Nexus 6 as more details about the devices leaked through the Internet.

Google will be launching the new line of Nexus devices in the following weeks, including the much anticipated Nexus 5 2015 (also known as Nexus 5X) and the new Nexus 6. Earlier this year, there have been conflicting reports of which tech giant would be making which device.

As the launch of the new Nexus devices comes near, more details are being leaked. The Google Nexus 5 2015 or the Nexus 5X will be made by the South Korean tech giant LG, while the Nexus 6 will be made by the Chinese tech company Huawei, according to BGR

What's new in the leaks this time? It's not as exciting as a photo leak, but Google seems to be implementing a new "Nexus Protect" scheme, which works like an extended warranty.

The Android Police found this short line on Google's online store: "You can't add this phone unless it has the same Nexus Protect choice as other phones in your cart. You can update your choice or purchase this phone in your next order."

If a user wants to buy several Nexus devices, the buyer would need to buy the Nexus Protect warranty for all of them or none at all. As of this writing, there is still no clear details on how much the warranty will cost.

Just to recap what the Internet knows so far about the Nexus 5 2015 (Nexus 5X), it will have a 5.2-inch screen with a FHD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor coupled with 3 GBs of RAM, according to International Business Times.

It's also expected to run Google's New Android 6.0 Mashmallow out of the box. The Nexus 5 2015 (Nexus 5X) will also come in either 16 or 32 GB internal storage models. For selfie takers, it will feature a 2MP front camera and 13 MP for the rear.

However, the specs are not yet confirmed by Google or LG.
