As the American singer-song writer, Taylor Swift's career swiftly soaring high, new problems also arises on her way. The "Style" singer Taylor Swift is facing a lawsuit filed by a former DJ in Colorado named David Mueller. It was connected on an incident that happened two years ago.
The Colorado-based DJ, David Mueller is the accused man whom the singer claimed who touched her butt backstage. According to E! News, the 25-year-old Taylor Swift was sued by Mueller who's also known as "Jackson" as a radio DJ. According to the files he submitted to the federal court, he was fired from his work at a local radio station, 98.5 KYGO because of the singer's false claim. Mueller swore he didn't touch the singer.
Taylor swift claimed the former DJ touched her while taking picture with her and with Mueller's girlfriend at the backstage back in June 2013. The pop singer was invited to perform at Denver's Pepsi Center and the accused former DJ was the emcee of the meet and greet show.
The former DJ explained, before the singer performed, he and his girlfriend, Shannon Melcher took a picture together with Taylor Swift backstage. The Hollywood Life wrote, Taylor Swift complained, Mueller lifted her skirt and touched her butt. She called on the security to handle David and his girlfriend on which the two were taken outside the premises. He was fired right away after the incident.
The Daily Mail reported, the former DJ, Mueller is presumably suing the singer to payback the amount of money he makes a year since he lost his job.
However it seems, the "1989" singer is used to lawsuits. The previous month, Taylor Swift was also sued by the owner of the clothing apparel, Lucky 13 claiming Swift plagiarized a fashion line from him. Despite of the lawsuit that stands her way, it looks like she's just shaking it off.
Taylor Swift has been known for her hit songs, Love story and her latest hit single, Style. The singer was also been in a relationship with some of the known singers namely, Joe Jonas, John Mayer and including the actor, Taylor Lautner. The Scottish record producer, songwriter and singer, Calvin Harris is currently the pop singer's boyfriend.
Though it seems these lawsuits could greatly affect the pop singer's career and image, still it will never stop her bright star to shine.
