MMA fighter Ronda Rousey admits being a cry baby especially before fight week

Despite being the UFC women's bantamweight champion, Ronda Rousey recently opened up on her sensitive side, and admitted that she's a very emotional person. The 28-year-old champ also confessed being a person that easily cries, especially a week before a match.

In a report from Eonline, last Monday Ronda Rousey took to "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" to talk about and promote her new book, "My Fight/Your Fight." During her interview with Ellen DeGeneres, Ronda admitted being an emotional person that cries a lot. As stated in her book, the bantamweight champion explained to Ellen how emotional she gets especially before fight week.

In another report from ET Online, Ronda explained why she gets so emotional. "I'm the biggest crier especially before fight week when I'm about to fight, that's when I'm the most emotional," Rousey stated. "Like my last fight, I totally cried the day before." She then continued with, "You're so amped up and every emotion you could possibly have happens during that week. It's all these things and sometimes you can't hold it in," the 28-year-old admitted. "It's gotta leak somewhere so why not your eyes."

According to Perez Hilton, despite the young athlete admitting she's the highest paid UFC fighter in the industry, she also struggles when preparing for a match. After previously beating Bethe Correia in an amazing 34-second fight that made headlines, the "Furious 7 Star" admitted that she was a wreck the week before the fight as so many things were going on.

Stating that all the hard work, anxiety, discipline, and emotions are on a high level the week before a match goes down, Rousey insists that crying is just one good way of getting rid of all the negative vibes. She believes it helps prepare her for the match ahead.

Though Ronda Rousey admits on being a bit of a cry baby, that doesn't stop her from dominating the women's UFC industry. After recently coming out victorious with her fight against Miesha Tate, the MMA figher tyet again proved that despite her emotional feelings, she's 100% focused and game on whenever she's in the cage.
