On September 13, 2015 during a press conference at the Toronto International Film Festival, Tom Hardy has heated up. The actor did not appreciate a reporter's invasive question about his sexuality. A supposed clarifiication to a question turned out to be an unexpected heated exchange.

Tom Hardy was in the said film festival's press conference to promote his new film "Legend." During the conference, a reporter asked the actor about his sexuality. Tom Hardy seemed to not have any wrongful intention to not answer the question. The question depicted some confusion to the actor so he asked for clarification and soon turned out to be a heated conversation, Hollywood Life shared.

Graeme Coleman, the reporter, compared Tom Hardy's film character to his real-life one. In this light, the said reporter is said to have found the actor's sexuality ambiguous. Tom Hardy was then asked if celebrities find it hard to open up their sexual preference to the media.

Confused as he is, Tom Hardy insisted on clarifying what was being meant by the question. Graeme Coleman clarified some parts of his question. Tom Hardy did not seem to like it and asked back if he was being questioned about his sexuality, Time Magazine cited.

Graeme Coleman with all conviction answered the actor a 'sure' about him asking his sexuality. The actor asked a big why but there was no answer given by the reporter. Tom Hardy abruptly said his thanks, The Daily Mail shared.

Tom Hardy is married to English actress Charlotte Riley, who is currently pregnant with his second child. The actor has also confessed to be a one-woman man, especially when he married his wife in 2014.

The actor did not seem to appreciate how the question has been asked and its indirect point. Furthermore, Tom Hardy has no hard feelings and wasn't offended by Graeme Coleman. Instead, the actor just wants to concentrate promoting his new film.
