'Suits' Season 4B Spoilers: Creator Aaron Korsh Talks What’s Next After Mike’s Arrest

By

As the legal drama "Suits" moves forward in the back half of season 4, what can we expect regarding the aftermath of Mike's secret finally revealed? Also, will we ever find out who outed Mike to the authorities?

In the midseason finale of "Suits", we saw Mike get arrested for conspiracy to commit fraud. And yes, our hearts definitely crushed as we saw the man of Rachel’s dreams get handcuffed by the Feds.

Poor Miss Zane.

While this is all unfortunate, we have to admit that we were all waiting for it to happen. Mike’s arc as a walking fraud has been the central conflict of Suits and waiting for four seasons is long enough to drag this overarching storyline.

According to creator and executive producer Araron Korsh, viewers will discover who reported Mike to the Feds. “Ultimately, we do find out who it was. I asked our editor who he thought it was and he was surprised when I told him. I don't know if everybody will be. But there's a long list of people who knew and there are certainly plenty of other people who could've found out and handed him in even though we've never seen them know,” he said in an interview with TV Guide.

As for the bigger question of what’s ahead, the showrunner admits via TV Guide that the second batch of episodes will deal with the ramifications of the arrest. “The last six [episodes] are really gonna be about the fallout or blowback of this event happening and Mike getting arrested. This is a major turning point. Certainly Harvey quit, but Mike getting arrested affects the trajectory of what he was going to do. Does he try to come back? Everything is going to be affected by this thing that no one saw coming. We will find out what will happen to all six of them.”

Korsh also addressed the accomplices of Mike who’s privy to his secret. In case you’re wondering if there will also be legal consequences for them, get worried. He dropped an ominous tease in an interview with TV Line. “Seems to me they probably might be. [Laughs] Yeah, they’re certainly not free and clear," the creator said.

Suits resumes its fourth season sometime in 2016.
