After how many years, Markus Keen decides to leave his band and signs under Rayna's record label as a solo artist. Suddenly, Markus and Rayna develops a love-hate relationship in the upcoming season. Other than that, Rayna finally reveals the real situation of Deacon. Fans will stop worrying about Deacon as soon as 'Nashville' Season 4 premiere starts.
There is a higher possibility that Deacon and his trouble-making sister could come back this upcoming season. TV Line reports that during the month of May, creator Dee Johnson teased that no one has to die. She also adds that a flatline doesn't necessarily mean somebody doesn't get resuscitated.
Other than that, Britton's character will be focusing more on her struggling label, Highway 65 Records this Season 4. Rayna will be moving forward with her renewed desire of making Highway 65 Records the label that she always wanted it to be. One of her plans includes having a new talent under her label.

However when he notices that Rayna's label is just depending on his talents, he becomes very demanding. The rock star will make Rayna's life difficult but suddenly the two starts to develop a romantic attraction. What will happen with their relationship depends on what will happen to Deacon.
Moreover, Connie Britton who plays the character of Rayna stated during an interview, "Rayna's love life is going to become very clear within the first five minutes of the first episode" as mentioned on Entertainment Weekly.
