Venture capital company Domain Associates promoted Nimesh Shah as parter after working as a member of the investment firm. The company, which primarily invests in biosciences and biotechnologies, said that Shah was "instrumental in driving opportunites in the rapidly evolving medical space."
Shah previously worked at another venture firm called Cutlass Capital, and was part of the research team on medical device at Deutsche Bank (then Alex. Brown & Sons).
Brian Dovey, one of Domain Associate's partners, said that Shah ""He brings a depth of knowledge to and works closely with our entrepreneurs and management teams to build the next generation of great device companies."
The newly appointed partner said in an interview that working with entrepreneurs means working with passionate people. It's hard not to be equally infected with the same level of enthusiasm, especially to be able to do so in such a dynamic environment," Shah explained.
Domain's primary investments lie in areas of medicine such as pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, and services.
