Everyone is really excited to witness the unveiling of the new software from Apple. The Telegraph actually did a live countdown of the launch of iOS 9 as well as the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus.
Forbes reported there are better features you will experience after the upgrade such as an improved battery life and low power mode. It also frees up a lot of space since the iOS 9 is 3.5 times smaller than the iOS 8 it will only occupy 1.4 GB of memory. The new operating system also has the new Apple Proactive which rivals Google Now, the app that scans your phone content and provides information before you need it. And with this also comes the promise that all data accessed will be saved by your device. A much smarter Siri is also observed as it supports more natural language commands. Apple News is another innovation as it collects all articles you want to read, from top news sources to topics you're most interested in. With this, you don't need to move from one app to another just to keep informed. For the iPad, it will feature split screen and picture-in-picture multi-tasking just like the ones for desktop as well as "QuickType" keyboards.
Forbes also stated iOS 9 is not just armed with new and better features, it also conquers some important bugs and security flaws such as the WiFried. This is a year-long glitch the iOS 8 had which caused some users to experience very slow and miserably unreliable WiFi performance.
As audio streaming was pulled out from Home Sharing during the iOS 8.4 update, Apple promises that Home Sharing will be restored in the iOS 9.
It was recently discovered that hackers were able to bypass the iOS lockscreen security through a safety hole in Airdrop. With iOS 9, lockscreen vulnerability will now be fixed and enhanced.
Lastly, iOS 9 has much wider testing. Since Apple opened up an iOS 9 beta testing to the public and have validated six iOS 9 beta version afterwards, it became a major improvement for them.
Since the release of the iOS 9, more Apple device users are upgrading and praising Apple for this major development.
