Elephone Launched: A Smartphone Having Android 5.0 and Windows 10 Mobile Dual-Boot

Smartphone users have been bugged with rumors of a device with a dual-boot system. Is it really possible to have a device that can support both Android 5.0 and Windows 10? Finally, the answer is yes.

TechRadar confirmed in a report last April that a new brand of smartphone named Elephone will be delivering two variants of devices. One has the Android operating system only while the other one will have a dual boot system consisting of Android 5.0 and Windows 10.

Elephone Vowney has finally hit the market with its capability to boot both Android 5.0 and Windows 10. Vowney was said to be advertised as the flagship of the Elephone brand. According to Pocket-lint, the manufacturer of this smartphone has made handsets that were available to US and UK which makes it user-friendly. In fact, this device is very useful for Android and PC users to keep everything in one place because Windows 10 works across all platforms.

NDTV Gadgets discussed further specifications of Vowney in a recent report. The device is engineered with a 5.5-inch IPS LCD Display having a 1440 x 2560 screen resolution and a 535 ppi pixel density considered to be very notable. Powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6795 processor clocked at 2.2GHz coupled with 3GB of RAM, the Elephone Vowney is expected to perform extremely well. This new smartphone is packed with 64GB of built-in storage and is expandable up to 64 GB through microSD.

Pocket-lint added some great features that can be found in the Elephone Vowney. It is said to have a camera with a 20.7-megapixel Sony IMX 230 snapper.The device also has a fingerprint scanner and a battery with more than 3,800 mAh capacity.

Th Elephone Vowney dual-boot smartphone is already out in the market and it will surely put the users to amazement as they explore this all-new device which can boot both Android 5.0 and Windows 10.
