BNY Mellon - Alcentra Mezzanine Partners, a provider of equal capacity and senior debt, announced on Friday that Karin Kovacic is its new vice president. The newly appointed veep is tasked to manage business development and processes of the company across the Mid-Atlantic region. BNY Mellon-Alcentra is based in New York City.
Kovacic previously worked at CDIZ MHM LLC based in New York. Prior to that, she also served as Fifth Street Capital's vice president for four years. She is also the President of the Association for Corporate Growth Connecticut Chapter, and is member of the board of the same association's New York Chapter.
Her career includes the origination of the North East deal.
BNY Mellon - Alcentra Mezzanine Partners have invested an estimated $500 million in several starting companies since 1998. Their portfolio of investments include Acis Offshore, Dentristry for Children, The Center for Wound Healing, Emerald Waste Services and several more.
