Asus ZenFone 2: New 4GB RAM Version Already Out; Earned Positive Reviews

By

Asus was so overwhelmed with the positive feedback and good ratings the ZenFone 2 has received lately that they have released another ZenFone 2 version armored with 4GB of RAM for only $230.

The latest flagship smartphone of Asus was released last January. According to BGR in a report released last May, the ZenFone 2 is a device that is packed into a budget-friendly high-end phablet.

Tech2 made a review of ZenFone 2 last August and this device received a rating of 7.0. This was based on different aspects such as build and design, features, software, display, performance, camera and battery life. Among these areas of rating, performance got the highest score of 8/10, all because of the quad-core Atom processor paired with 4GB of RAM that ensures the smartphone will run smoothly. With this processor and RAM, the phone doesn't indicate any slowing down and lag. Animations were also smooth-flowing despite of so many pre-loaded apps on the Zenfone2 which again proves that this is indeed a speedy device.

On the other hand, its camera got the lowest grade of 6.5/10 due to photos which were captured in low-light mode were packed with noise. The daylight photographs were quite average and sharpness levels were not that great on pixel peeping, as you will notice that the photos produced lack fine details. Lastly, the HDR mode doesn't work that well especially indoors.

Digital Trends recently reported that the Asus has released another version of ZenFone 2 armed with 4GB of RAM for the price of only $230. The new ZenFone 2 is also equipped with 5.5-inch with 1,920 x 1,080 resolution IPS display. It has a microSD slot that can hold up to 64GB of memory. Lastly, It has dual-sim support and has a standard array of wireless radios.

With these specifications, fans will be victorious as the Asus ZenFone 2 4GB RAM version is added to the pool of awesome budget-wise smartphones that have already hit the market.
