Android 6.0 Marshmallow: Update Soon Available for Samsung Galaxy S6, S5 and Note 5

The Android Marshmallow 6.0 update is expected to be rolled out for the Samsung Galaxy family most notably the Galaxy S6, S5 and Note 5.

The forthcoming release of the update from Google Android is fast approaching. As a matter of fact, Samsung Electronics is placing so much effort in bringing this newest update to their flagship models.

According to Android Geeks, a lot of Samsung Galaxy users are patiently waiting for the Android 5.1.1 update but most of them are even more excited of the upcoming Android M. Samsung have released a statement that the newest update from Android will be made available for the Galaxy family most especially with the Galaxy S6, S5 and Note 5, but then they haven't specified a date of the release yet.

In an article, Christian Today stated that there is still no definite relase date for Android Marshmallow, but then Google had announced a big event that will be held in San Francisco on September 29. This will be the launch of their next generation series of Nexus, and these devices are allegedly the first ones to receive the Android M operating system.

Furthermore, Gospel Herald said in their report that it is possible that Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge owners might have to wait until early 2016 for their devices to receive the update. As for Samsung Galaxy S5, it will most likely receive the update on the second quarter of 2016. Meanwhile, it might be very late for Galaxy S4 to receive this latest version since it wasn't able to receive the Lollipop.

And lastly for the Note 5, this device was assumed to receive the update very soon after the Marshmallow has been officailly released and this could happen at the end of September.

The Android 6.0 Marshmallow update will be received by most smartphones from the Samsung Galaxy line, most notably the Galaxy S6, S5 and Note 5.
