"American Horror Story" season 5 is only weeks away from hitting our small screens. Subtitled ‘Hotel’, the latest season of the FX anthology will be set in a hotel in Los Angeles called Hotel Cortez. When a detective is tasked to investigate the case, he finds himself checking in at the enigmatic location after receiving some mysterious clues. A slew of star-studded cast will be appearing in the Ryan Murphy-produced series, including Lady Gaga, Matt Bomer, Kathy Bates and Angela Bassett among others.
As fans waited for 'Hotel' to finally arrive, a host of teasers and promos have been released to promote the upcoming installment. A few days ago, American Horror Story Brasil has unveiled a 20-second teaser through YouTube entitled “Dropped Call” where we saw a maid picking up a blood-stained bedsheet. A phone suddenly fell, revealing that a suspended 911 call had occurred. The other video clips that were released earlier also bore some very interesting titles that will give its followers a solid amount of freight. “Do Not Disturb” and “Jeepers Peepers” are among the few.
While fans have adored every setting presented in each run of American Horror Story, this season is proving to be one of the grandest. A photo featuring the whole cast has been shared by series star Cheyenne Jackson via Entertainment Weekly this week, unveiling the unique and elegant vibe of ‘Hotel’. The image highlighted Lady Gaga wearing an elegant white gown while standing front and center as The Countess.
Before tuning in on its Oct. 7th series premiere, longtime fans of AHS should expect for some slight resemblance between the current season and season one’s Murder House. Series star Dennis O’Hare – who plays a cross-dressing bar owner in the show --has shared the scoop in a recent interview with TV Line. “The theme is different, but also the feeling on the set is different. But I think it’s going to be really scary. It feels like Season 1 in many ways … and I think it’s because we’re back in LA. You can’t help it!,” the actor explained.
"American Horror Story" will feature a Hotel-themed setting in season 5. The latest run of the FX anthology, starring Lady Gaga and Matt Bomer, will take viewers on a murder-mystery plot which will take thirteen episodes to arrive at a conclusion. The series hails from Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk.
