In related news, Legion dubbed to be the biggest expansion for World of Warcraft is speculated to release in November next year, if Blizzard had to stick with its normal two-year cycle, the official release is not yet confirmed, though. According to PC Advisor, the announcement of the upcoming expansion coming earlier than BlizzCon 2015 in November could indicate the developer's plan to stop fans from abandoning subscriptions which is already down by 40%.
The beta for Legion, on the other hand, is predicted to happen later this year and gamers who are interested to join in can sign up via clicking this link >> here.
Legion's new features will include a raise of the level cap to 110 and introduce a new hero class called Demon Hunter with spectral sight, metamorphosis, and unparalleled mobility. Gamers can also explore a new area called The Broke Isles that has new dungeons, raids and bosses.
Artifacts which are customisable weapons described to "grow in power as you do" will also be added. Moreover, a new PvP progression system, improved social features, and a special character boost that will allow players to quickly raise one character to level 100 will be part of the expansion.
In their inteview with Game Reactor, Game Director Tom Chilton and Lead Game Designer Ion Hazzikostas revealed that Blizzard already has plans of World of Warcraft: Legion for three years.
Chilton said, "We go through multiple expansions at a time and there was a point in which we were trying to decide the order of which should come first, Warlords of Draenor versus Legion ... and we had decided that the right thing story wise was for Warlords to come first and lead into Legion. So we have known what we are going to do on core level since two and half three years ago or so now. It was around 2012 we were talking about that."
World of Warcraft Legion is the sixth expansion for World of Warcraft since its debut in 2004 and is dubbed to be biggest expansion in history of the franchise. Official release date and exact schedule of the Beta are yet to be announced by Blizzard soon.
