A year after his tragic car accident, comedian Tracy Morgan is now ready to come back to the big screen. He is now slated to work on New Line's "Fist Fight" which will serve as his first movie since the incident.

Over a year ago, comedian Tracy Morgan was involved in a car accident which caused him a brain injury. His friend and fellow comedian, James McNair, was killed in the said accident. After a year of recovery, Entertainment News Online reports that the actor is now ready to head back to the big screen. He is now currently in negotiation to join the cast of "Fist Fight", New Line's upcoming comedy. He surprisingly appeared at the 2015 Emmy Awards held last weekend. At the said event, he is very thankful having to stand on that stage after the events of the past year. He was the one who presented the last award for the night, the Best Drama Series.

It has been reported by Washington's Top News that the actor got a standing ovation as he presented an award at the Emmy's. He was even able to crack a few jokes amidst his emotional speech. The comedian is set to continue his comeback as a host on Saturday Night Live, the show that made him famous. He will be coming back to the show on October 17.

AV Club reports that Morgan is going to star alongside Charlie Day and Ice Cube in his upcoming film. The production is going to start later this month, to be set in Atlanta. His upcoming movie will be directed by a veteran director Richie Keen and will center on a mild-mannered teacher who is going to be challenged on a fist fight, by a colleague who is much tougher than him. There hasn't been any confirmation yet as to what role Morgan will play in the movie though.

After a tragic year that he has been through, Tracy Morgan is now ready to come back and fill the hearts of his supporters with joy once more. It is expected that there will be more coming his way after this.
