Android 5.1.1 Lollipop brings in a new Material Design, more notification controls, device sharing and device sync, among others.
The Material Design has a look and feel that is colorful and fresh. Lollipop experience includes more fluid animations along with improved applications and personalization options like themes, colors and widgets.
For fewer worries and disruptions, adjust settings so only certain people and notifications get through. When it is important, users can respond directly from lock screen.
Share device securely with guest user mode. Or create multiple user accounts to enable friends to log in on your device. In either case, no one will be able to access any of owner's personal stuff. Use Android Smart Lock to secure phone or tablet by pairing it with a trusted device like a wearable or even a car.
The songs, photos, apps, and even recent searches from one of owner's other Android devices can be immediately enjoyed across all of Android devices.
