Ford's 2017 Super Duty trucks lighter but stronger and more modern

The 2017 Ford Super Duty model has a series of full-size trucks that will change all that seems to be the flaws of the previous trucks including air bags and colored touchscreens.

With bodies with made with military-grade aluminum, four exterior high-definition digital cameras, and dozens of exterior LED lights, you bet these trucks could be considered as the most modern of all trucks, Mashable reported.

Following the concept on how the F-150 pickup was manufactured, the all-new 2017 Super Duty line of Ford trucks will now be constructed with a more durable aluminum.

As a matter of fact, this high-strength aluminum that Ford uses to build the bodies of these strong and sturdy tow-masters is said to be more durable and is resistant against surface damage and dents compared to the steel used for the Super Duties last generation.

Underneath the aluminum body is a high-strength forged frame steel that is 24 times more durable than the outgoing Super Duties' frames. Although these new trucks become stronger than ever before, its weight becomes 350 lbs. lighter. Imagine how much faster these trucks can drive.

One of the many reasons why Ford claims its F-series trucks to be the best-selling vehicle in the U.S. is because of its Super Duty. Like its rivals, the truck company aggregates its standard and heavy duty truck sales together and these trucks helped boost Ford's sale making the company the best-selling brand in the U.S. or the last five years.

The Super Duty is highly lucrative, especially when equipped with options while enjoying vast customer patronage, according to Car and Driver.

The 2017 Ford Super Duty will have its appearance later for sale by late next year. Expect the price to raise because of the aluminum materials. But it will surely not discourage customers to buy these trucks since they are getting a lot than what they paying for.

This massive but adorable truck was unveiled at the State Fair of Texas. Ford claimed the new truck was steel frame of high strength which is 24 times stiffer, with longer cabs and 16 segment-exclusive features, including the LED cargo-box lighting and a remote tailgate release, as reported by the Auto News.

"As we remove weight, we're making Super Duty more productive by giving our customers better towing and payload capacity," Craig Schmatz, Super Duty chief engineer, said in a statement. "We're backing up improved capability with a stronger gasoline and diesel Super Duty engine lineup."
