Star Wars: Battlefront Alpha Tester Reveals Game Is Broken; Will the Game Launch Before the Upcoming Film?

By

Simply put, Star Wars: Battlefront has been considered as one of the most anticipated games of the year, given that the film Star Wars: The Force Awakens is slated to hit theaters soon enough. Given that the saga has so much demand, the developers of the upcoming title cannot afford to slack off even a little bit--if the company does not want to make a failure out of the franchise.

According to IGN, Star Wars: Battlefront is unquestionably popular to date, and perhaps will grow even more in the coming seasons. But as of the moment, the series is going through a rough patch that may cause a deeper downward slope for the battlefield franchise.

Reported by Tech Times, Star Wars: Battlefront is about a month away, but still is in need of intense repair. On a more technical note, an alpha tester of the game has stated that the multiplayer feature of the game needs some serious work, as the imbalance of the game may just be a great cause of the downfall.

The alpha tester further explained the assessment and was quoted saying, "I've been Alpha testing a few games and I can say Battlefront is a complete mess and is broken. Considering that their deadline for the game is in a few weeks and they still haven't fixed the majority of the in game problems let alone the connection problem me and other testers were having, yes it's going to be a mess. And even a day 1 patch won't fix all of them, I don't know too much outside what I played, but the game is indeed rushed and it's all because of Episode 7 releasing this December."

Moreover, as delivered by Forbes, reports say that there were times when developer DICE nearly left the title, despite it being one of the most anticipated video games for this year. As it has been expected to leave other contenders leagues behind, Star Wars: Battlefront may have to rethink and go over the details to be fixed before the game's promised launch next month. It's an awfully close call for Star Wars: The Force Awakens official screening scheduled the month after on December 17th.

Overall, Star Wars: Battlefront has some glitches and bugs, but certainly cannot be left behind. With only so much at stake, and other high-end games to go alongside it, DICE's title is set to go head-on with other highly-awaited franchise masterpieces as it is scheduled for release on November 17, 2015.
