Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt have started filming 'Passengers' in Atlanta. While they didn't have to undergo drastic body transformations to prepare for their roles, the co-stars have been seen sporting changes in their looks: Lawrence with a platinum blonde hair and Pratt with full on beard.
Entertainment Online broke the news about JLaw's bleach blonde hair, which was seen on the set of 'Passengers'. Looking elegant in her bleached locks, Lawrence was seen with this new look as she went to the first day of filming for 'Passengers'. She plays Aurora, a passenger in a spacecraft carrying thousands. Traveling towards a distant colony, the people inside are sleeping, until a malfunction in a sleeping chamber awakens Jim Preston, played by Chris Pratt.
Pratt was seen with a full beard, but apparently, it was a fake beard needed for the role, Entertainment Tonight reported. The rugged look was absent when Pratt was photographed a few days before. Pratt has retained his buff body for 'Passengers', to the delight of his fanbase.The co-stars are currently filming in Atlanta, where Pratt's character faces the dilemma of living and dying alone while everyone else sleeps for another 90 years. Making a decision, he wakes up Lawrence's Aurora.
According to Movie News Guide, The Imitation Game's Morten Tyldum is directing the Lawrence and Pratt along with stars Lawrence Fishburne and Michael Sheen. Fishburne will play Colonel Alexander while Sheen's character is unknown. 'Passengers' is scheduled for release 21 December 2016.
Many fans have expressed delight JLaw's new hair color, and are excited to see more of her bleach blonde look in the "Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" premiere this November. On the other hand, Pratt's look has rocked the rugged look, but fans would love to see this face beardless at some point of the 'Passengers'.
