Halo 5: Guardians Rumors, Updates : Is Master Chief no more? New PvP features announced

Halo 5: Guardians is less than a month away. Even with the said nearing period, fans are boggled by the probability of what the story for the said installment will be. Some may have an idea already, and while others do not, 343 Industries has given the closest news to all the fans of the franchise.

As reported by Game Revolution, numerous video trailers of Halo 5: Guardians have spurred to the public for the past number of months, some of them giving away small clues as to what the game will be about. However, a recent footage depicted perhaps one of the most shocking and controversial hints that the game can probably reveal.

According to Christian Post, Halo 5: Guardians may perhaps be the end of the most beloved protagonist of the patrons, Master Chief. With the game formally set in the year 2560, an entire system has already been overrun by fear due to many political and destructive forces.

Master Chief was seen in the particular video being buried under massive breaks that perhaps caused the said death. This speculation of Spartan 117's death was further pushed by the fact that his visor went dark in the footage, and furthermore, became a widespread news across the city.

The claim was then altered, when a possibility was stated wherein Master Chief might still be alive, and is simply missing in action. Fans of the franchise have obviously tolerated the idea, thinking that an all-time protagonist is literally a hero to the series and cannot die in such an unfashionable way.

Moreover, the past claims of Master Chief's absence in the fourth was rather false after saying that he will no longer be seen after the third title; having said that, perhaps the fifth will no longer be any different.

Delivered by IGN, Halo 5: Guardians was confirmed to contain both the single and the multiplayer campaigns. A feature known as the Warzone will be able to hold a 12-on-12 player-versus-player challenge, as well as a player-versus-environment trait. Players can equip themselves with vehicles such as mechs, warplanes and buggies, all while dealing with the potentially dangerous AI opponents.

Halo 5: Guardians will officially be released on the Xbox One this October 27th, 2015.
