Justin Bieber recently dissed boy band One Direction after realizing that both he and the British group will release their latest album on the same day. Bieber took to Snapchat to post a short video of himself mocking the boy band, warning them that they should be ready for severe competition.
According to a report from Inquisitr, the feud between Justin Bieber and fans of One Direction have been going on for a long time; however, the lads themselves never actually had any personal problems with Bieber. Just recently, Justin changed all that after posting a short clip on his Snapchat wherein he dissed the famous boy group after finding out that they had the same album release date as the 'Never Say Never' singer.
As reported by Hollywood Life, Bieber's video contained the singer pulling a facial expression after saying, "The face you make when you come out with an album the same day as Justin Bieber." The video came after Bieber found out that the One Direction boys had announced their album release day was the same as his.
Apparently, prior to the British boy band announcing last September 22nd that they would be releasing their fifth studio album "Made In The A.M" on November 13th, Justin had announced that he would be releasing his album on the said date .Although the 21-year-old singer didn't mention the foursome's name, it was pretty obvious to fans who the young performer was aiming his video at.
In another report from Music Times, although many would think that the Bieber diss will start a major feud between the five heartthrobs, One Direction members actually thought the Snapchat was funny and have decided to fight back with what they are saying is going to be the 'ultimate diss.'
Although it looks like the dissing between the singers is all part of healthy banter, when it comes down to the release date of their albums, both Justin Bieber and One Direction will start feeling the pressure. With November 13 not far off, Bieber and 1D are now busy promoting their albums to entice fans to purchase one's album over the other.
