Five Nights at Freddy's 4 FREE Halloween Content Update Changes Revealed; Scott Cawthon Confirms an ALL-NEW Game Maybe Launched this October

By

Fans of Five Nights at Freddy's 4 will be bagging delightful Halloween treats from game creator Scott Cawthon. The free automatic content update adding lots of gameplay goodies will be out on October 31 and a new game, but not the recently announced RPG, will also be possibly released this month.

Via Steam Community page, Cawthon has confirmed that fans can look forward to Five Nights at Freddy's Halloween Content Update coming out on October 31st. His post reads,

"The October 31st content will be an automatic update, not DLC. It will update the game to 1.1 and will include lots of goodies on the extras menu (for those who have beaten night 6), including a cheat menu, a challenge menu, and a twist on a familiar minigame that provides a boost when playing challenge modes." .

Latin Post noted that the Texas-based game developer also mentioned that he is surprised to find out that no Five Nights at Freddy's 4 gamer has yet solved the puzzle and that the game's story remains uncovered.

He added that there's one thing that will not be included in the upcoming Halloween Content Update for the latest main title to the franchise and that is the box.

"What's in the box? It's the pieces put together. But the bigger question is -- would the community accept it that way? The fact that the pieces have remained elusive this time strikes me as incredible, and special, a fitting conclusion in some ways, and because of that, I've decided that maybe some things are best left forgotten, forever," he stated.

Moreover, the game creator also dropped a tease to fans that the Easter eggs in FNAF4 are not random but are significant. He expressed his hope that a player will finally be able to use them to stitch the story together.

Meanwhile, Cawthon has also gladly announced that a new game will be released this October, if and when it wil be ready for public launching. "I have something fun in mind, a new game (not FNaF5) but it will be a real challenge to have even a small playable portion by Oct 31st. If a playable demo isn't ready by then, then at the very least there will be some sneak-peak content," he said.

As to the recently announced Five Nights at Freddy's World RPG, Design & Trend reports that no definite release date has been announced as of yet.

In related news, fans can also watch out for the live-action adaptation of Five Nights at Freddy's from the acclaimed director Gil Kenan who has recently released trailer of a test animatronic as a sneak peek on what to expect from the upcoming film.

Five Nights at Freddy's 4 is the final installment of the indie point and click video game series released last July for PC and mobile devices. The Halloween Content Update will be a free automatic patch set to roll out this coming Halloween.
