Prince William recently accompanied the rescue team that helped transport a young girl involved in a car crash. The Duke of Cambridge, who works as an air ambulance co-pilot, airlifted the 9- year old kid to a nearby hospital in Cambridge to immediately attend to her injuries.

The Royal Highness came to support a little girl who was seriously injured in a car crash in England this week. According to BBC on Wednesday, the Duke of Cambridge was one of the first responders at an accident between two cars in the town of Leighton Buzzard in Bedfordshire. The vehicles crashed from one another, and one of them struck a 9-year-old child who was just crossing the street.

William, who was the co-pilot with the East Anglian Air Ambulance, arrived at the wrecking incident and helped to fly the victim to the nearest hospital in Cambridge. The young girl allegedly suffered a broken pelvis and legs. She is reportedly in critical condition while the second girl suffered minor injuries in the crash.

The Prince has been working at the Cambridge Airport for the life-saving charity since July. He completed his first rescue mission just days into starting his new job, after ending his paternity leave for the birth of his daughter Princess Charlotte.

However, this isn't the very first time that the Royal Hero has saved the lives of his countrymen. As mentioned by Hello! Daily News, for his first mission as a pilot, Kate Middleton's husband alongside his colleague, Dr Gemma Mullen, helped out a man who had a heart attack in Felixstowe, Suffolk. The patient was transferred to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.

In a report by E! News, way back in August, the 33-year old also aided a man who was shot in the stomach in Suffolk. William and his co- workers dropped off some medics at the crime scene before they decided to transport the victim to a nearby hospital.

Meanwhile, the two kids are still in the hospital and are monitored for their full recovery. The Prince, on the other hand, still donates his whole £40,000 salary per year to his charity. And for now, he has been balancing his full-time air ambulance duties with his royal duties, as well as taking care of his two kids and his wife the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton.
