Square Enix previously confirmed that fans who are aching for announcement of Kingdom Hearts 3 official release date will be receiving special suprises, exciting gameplay trailer and other details at D23 Expo in Japan next month. Prior to this event however, game creator Tetsuya Nomura has discussed most recently the new title's development and other key information pertaining to the game.
in an interview with GamesTM, Nomura revealed that working on Kingdom Hearts 3 with Disney has not get in the developer's way to do things saying, "anything unique to Kingdom Hearts hasn't been a source of disagreement from Disney."
Moreover, the creator tackled the development process given the change of a new game engine and regarding the new battle system. He shared that the team had to start from the ground up and go through a tedious amount of adjustment for "Kingdom Hearts-specific shader" using the new technology
Twifinite reports that according to Nomura, the gameplay side of Kingdom Hearts 3,fans will see a new Keyblade transformation because of a plot point where Sora has to deal with "a test of mastery". In addition, he revealed, "There have been many bold additions to Kingdom Hearts 3 in combat and those are only possible because we have access to the better hardware but it hasn't necessarily been things I couldn't have done then. It's more that I learned from the experiments of the spin-offs."
Although, when he was asked if there will be three playable characters, Nomura was tight lipped to confirm this information but dropped a hint saying, "maybe, something will happen there."
As reported earlier, Square Enix had been teasing fans some special surprises at the D23 Expo in Japan this coming November 6-8. A showcase of gameplay trailer sounds plausible and most of the game aficionados are also rooting for the much awaited official announcement of the game's release date.
Three Disney worlds namely, Big Hero 6, Hercules, and Tangled have been announced to be featured in 8th installment of the franchise. Other worlds that are being rumored for the game within the gaming community are Brave, Frozen, and Wreck-it Ralph. Kingdom Hearts 3 will hit current gen consoles, PS4 and Xbox One on a rumored late 2016 or early 2017 release date.
