Apple's new MacBook Air: Check out its release date, cost, specs and features

Apple is expected to release its new MacBook Air in 2016 and there are indications that came out regarding its interesting specs and features. It is believed that the new laptop will be supported by Skylake processors and come with El Capitan and Nvidia GeForce GTX 950. These are some of the major features that the new Apple product can offer to MacBook enthusiasts.

Neuro Gadget said that Apple will adopt a new processor from Intel which is Skylake. The processor can have a performance of 10% CPU speed and an increase of 34% compared to Intel HD graphics. The processor also intends to enhance the battery life of the new MacBook for an addition of 1.4 hours. More so, Christian Today mentioned that the new Apple product will come in two versions such as 13 inches and 15 inches display. According to the related report, the smaller MacBook may cost $1500 and the bigger MacBook may cost $1699.

Christian Post also mentioned that MacBook Air will feature Nvidia GeForce GTX 950 graphics and the new OS X El Capitan operating systems. Nvidia GeForce GTX 950 graphics is believed to improve graphics capabilities, simplified programming, and energy-efficiency. OS X El Capitan on the other hand is known to focus more on the device's performance, stability, and security.

In addition, Yibada stated that the new laptop will appear thinner than the previous models. MacBook Air 2016 will also come out with Force Touch Technology and Type-C USB port. The report added that the new device will be released along with iPad Air 3.

The processor and operating system are believed to be causing the delay for the release, in which Apple has no official announcement yet on the exact issue date of the new MacBook Air. The company did not also confirm the details that came out regarding the other specs and features of the new laptop.
