Shania Twain was recently diagnosed by her doctors with respiratory infection. Hence, the singer was forced to cancel two of her upcoming concert tour dates.

The country superstar Shania Twain's "Rock This Country" concert tour has been on the rocks recently. The singer has been currently diagnosed with having respiratory infection causing her to cancel two of her tour dates. According to Entertainment News Online, her concerts at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester and the Times Union Centre in Albany on Oct. 6 & 7 respectively have both been cancelled. Her team has assured that all tickets will be refunded, for the tour could not be rescheduled and it has to be cancelled. The singer has already apologized to her fans for the inconvenience that the incident has caused.

The singer's concert has started last June of this year and she has initially intended for this tour to already be her last, however it has ended sooner than expected. Billboard reported that her doctors were the ones who advised her to rest for several days due to their diagnosis. The tour was intentionally going to be conducted in 48 cities and the singer has been really excited since her announcement earlier this year. She already stated that this is going to be her last tour and will make the most of it; unfortunately it is going to be cut short.

According to Times Union, the tour is scheduled to resume on Friday at the Videotron Centre in Quebec City. The singer announced about the cancellation on her Facebook page, sincerely apologizing for what has happened. Her current touring schedule has prevented her from rescheduling it. Twain shared earlier this year that she hasn't been on a concert tour for 11 years and this is going to be her first since then, and apparently also her last.

It has been very unfortunate for the singer to cancel some of her tour dates. However, she has already been medically advised. Twain will definitely make it up on her return after her rest.
