Advertising Technology businesses are preparing for their hardest pitch yet. This is by persuading investors to acquire their stock through initial public offerings that will transpire later this year.
However, some investors find it difficult to tell whether such companies are capable of real technological edge. Ad tech firms that have gone public in the past have toppled investors' confidence. This was after sharp decrease of stocks after their market debuts.
On Wednesday, Tremor Video will test the waters through its IPO pricing. The debut of the ad company could set a supportive valuation bar for other ad tech firms in the field if all goes well. Companies that are eying public floats could do so later this year. Such companies in the same field include Criteo, RocketFuel and YuMe as said by sources that were familiar with the matter.
Tremor Video, Criteo, RocketFuel and Yume refused to give statements regarding said IPO plans.
