NanoString Technologies Inc. was established in 2003. The company launched its first commercial instrument system in 2008 that began its international sales. In 2010, it has launched a new application for a system to support microRNA analysis. NanoString Technologies is a provider of life science tools for translational research and molecular diagnostic products.
Today, it announced the pricing of its initial public offering (IPO). A total of 5.4 million shares of common stock were set to be sold with a US$10 price per share piece. The company has also granted its underwriters a 30 day option to acquire 810,000 additional shares to be able to cover any over allotments.
Morgan Stanley and JP Morgan were chosen to be book runners for the said offering. Leerink Swann and Robert W. Baird & Co Incorporated were hired as co-managers. The NanoString Technologies will trade on The NASDAQ Global Market under the ticker symbol NSTG.
