A few months ago, One Direction announced they will be taking a break from the spotlight to focus on their separate careers. With news of the split, fans all over the world were left devastated at the sudden news. For the first time since their announcement, the boy band opened up about their future plans and whether they will be going back to the stage as a group in the near future.
One Direction recently announced that they would be taking a break from their high celebrity life to focus on their individual careers after their 'On The Road Again Tour' ended. With heartbroken fans demanding answers of the split and the boys' plans in the future, Vine Report was able to give an update on what the famous boy band members' plans are.
According to the report, Harry Styles recently opened up to 'Beats Radio 1' and admitted he would love to become a real estate agent in the near future, adding he doesn't plan on launching a solo career. Louis Tomlinson plans on taking a break completely to focus on being a dad to his child with Briana Jungwirth, while Niall Horan also plans on taking up a completely different career, as he hopes to become a DJ.
Though it's not sure what Liam Payne intends on doing, according to Movie News Guide, the singer jokingly tweeted the 'real reason' why the boys are splitting up. The 22-year-old singer tweeted he and the boys need time away from showbiz to remake the music video for their single "Shadow Pico."
However, despite the different paths the boys hope on taking, M-Magazine confirmed that One Direction will not be breaking up for good, and plan to return in 2017. Liam Payne explained in an interview with 'Granada Reports,' "We could never really walk away from something this good and this is something we all thoroughly enjoy doing, but we've done five albums in five years and toured at the same time so I think it's a little bit of time for us to kind of realize how well we've done and stuff."
Harry Styles later on added, "All we've really said is that we're just not touring next year and we have done for five years, so I get why saying we're not doing one feels like it's a thing, but we're just gonna take a little break."
With the good news from the boys, fans of One Direction can finally relax after confirmation that they will be back after a one-year break. Though it's not yet sure if any of the members will pursue solo careers, but being able to pursue different ventures during their hiatus would be good for the band members.
