FKA Twigs recently opened up for a cover interview with 'Paper' magazine for their "Nowstalgia" issue. The 27-year-old singer talked about her life, why she's working so hard, and how she's not at all interested in being part of Taylor Swift's 'squad.'
In a report from E! Online, the UK singer opened up about her personal life in an interview with 'Paper' magazine. A former back-up dancer, who will be appearing on the cover of the magazine's November issue, finally spoke about her personal life and what pushes her to work hard.
Known as someone who keeps her personal life private and says as little as possible to the media, it came as a pleasant surprise for the singer's fans when they found out they would soon learn more about the 'Two Weeks' singer. In the interview, FKA Twigs admitted being rather 'traditional' despite her outgoing and bold style.
The Mirror UK also reported about a certain lifestyle the singer grew up with, which she admits is one thing she doesn't mind sticking by. She stated that she grew up in Gloucestershire where going to school, graduating, working hard, marrying and having kids is the traditional way of life. FKA Twigs further said that it's the type of lifestyle she has had and intends to continue having.
Robert Pattinson's fiancée also added why she works so hard and admits there's a few people she wants to be proud of her. "I do this because I want my children to have a nice life, and I want my children's children to have a nice life," she stated before adding, "And I want my grandkids to be proud of what I've achieved. And I want to be a role model, but not for the world."
However, in another report from Independent, she was asked her opinion about Taylor Swift and the numerous members of celebrities being dubbed as part of her 'squad,' and whether she wants to join. FKA Twigs respectfully answered, "I think Taylor Swift is great, but I wouldn't necessarily think, 'Oh my god, I have to be friends with her'."
Although it looks like FKA Twigs has no plans of becoming part of Taylor Swift's circle of friends, she is enjoying her own smaller group of friends as well as her music supporters. Fans of the 27-year-old singer can look forward to learning more about FKA Twigs' life plans, her relationship with fiancé Robert Pattinson, and why she dislikes the word 'fans' as her interview will come out on 'Paper' magazine this October 20th.
