Bioware has launched Dragon Age Inquisition Game of the Year Edition available in a retail copy or digital purchase for PS4, Xbox One, and PC platforms. Also, a free new update has been released offering the addition of weapons, plethora of bug fixes, and several improvements to the game overall.
Inquisitr reports that Dragon Age Inquisition which garnered more than 130 Game of the Year Awards would make the Game of the Year Edition worthy to be added to any player's hall of great game collection. In the new edition, gamers can embark on their adventure by creating their own personal Inquisitor, either male or female, chosen among the four featured races.
The inquisitor who can either take a human, a dwarf, an elf, or a Qunari form can be customized some more on their journey and work to close the breach. After which, the Inquisitor and his allies will toil through the main campaign such as Jaws of Hakkon, The Descent, and Trespasser DLCs with the use of extra weapons and armors from Spoils packs.
Upon completing the game' story, players can also explore the fun in the co-op multiplayer of Dragon Age Inquisition which also brings several DLCs that contains new characters, new weapons, and more all free to download.
Meanwhile, a day prior to the release of GotY Edition, a free Patch 11 for Dragon Age Inquisition had gone live to address issues found in Trespasser DLC and fix bugs in co-op multiplayer mode. The latest update also adds the Red Lyrium Weapon which will be available to all players as confirmed by Bioware.
The official BioWare blog reads, "Red Lyrium Weapons, previously only available to players who completed the Quest for the Red Lyrium Reapers mini-game on the Dragon Age: Inquisition website, are now available to all players in a Special Delivery Chest."

- Fixed an issue that prevented a quest item from dropping in Trespasser when using Spirit Mark on a specific enemy.
- Fixed an issue that reduced the frequency of the Veilfire Multiplayer event.
- Fixed an issue that could cause Single-Player portraits to be visible in Multiplayer.Fixed a crash with the Lunge and Slash ability.
- Fixed an issue where Gaspard was being referenced as being the ruler of Orlais when it should be Celene.
- Fixed an issue that prevented AI controlled characters from toggling the Line in the Sand ability off when upgraded with Everlasting Barricade.
- Fixed an issue that prevented progress through the final combat of Trespasser when using Tactical Camera
Developed by Bioware,Dragon Age Inquisition is the third main title in the game franchise released in November 2014. Hints of a Dragon Age 4 were claimed to have been uncovered in the game's final story DLC called 'Trespasser' launched just recently.
