With the news of One Direction going on a hiatus, many fans are left worried whether the 'break' will become permanent. As the four heartthrobs of the popular British band hint towards their future plans and solo careers, fans may not be as saddened by the careers the boys have chosen, especially after news came out that certain members may be joining the 'X Factor,' and may also work with popular boy group 5 Seconds of Summer.
According to a report from Youth Health Magazine, fans all over the world are worried that the One Direction boys will not return after their supposed 'break.' With the news of the hiatus breaking the hearts of millions of fans, 1D member Niall Horan finally put his fans at ease with his confirmation tweet of their status. "Ok so lots of rumours going round," the blonde headed singer tweeted, "We are not splitting up, but we will be taking a well earned break at some point next year."
With the confirmation that the guys aren't going to split up but are taking a break, Movie News Guide was able to report on the group's future plans and who they want to work with. Apparently, Harry Styles will focus on his solo career, and is rumored to have already pre-written 20 solo songs. The 21-year-old is also planning to try his luck at acting.
Liam Payne will also focus on his solo career which includes songwriting and music production, while Louis Tomlinson is getting himself ready to become part of the 'X Factor' where he'll work closely alongside his boss Simon Cowell as he learns the ropes on finding and developing a potential singing superstar.
With the three boys already set with their future plans, fans are wondering what baby faced Niall plans on doing. In a report from Sugar Scape, rumors have it the 22-year-old celebrity may end up working with popular boy band 5 seconds of Summer. Although nothing has been made official, in a recent interview with the 'Daily Star', member Luke Hemmings stated, "I'd love to write for Niall if he does a solo album. We've written for One Direction before and he's a good dude. They are very talented so we would love to get involved."
It's already known to 1D and 5SOS fans that the two groups have a great connection between them. However with the recent news, Niall may get to bond even more with the 5SOS lads.
Whatever the case, One Direction fans will be happy to know that their favorite boy band will not be splitting up for good, and will probably be back on the stage in no time, even if it means doing their own thing individually. As for Niall Horan, fans of the young singer will have to wait and see whether the 22-year-old takes up on the 5SOS' offer, and when he will open up on his future career plans.
