The Elder Scrolls VI has stayed as a myth for the longest time, since the unprecedented success of the last title, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Bethesda has thwarted so much of the attempts to get information regarding these titles that fans have been dreaming of, and has succeeded with it drastically.
According to Master Herald, The Elder Scrolls VI is not even close to existing. This is not just a mere speculation, since Pete Hines of Bethesda rigidly mentioned it as well that the game is not even being worked on. The company was said to focus on other pieces of work that require a lot of their attention and thorough development, such as the critically appraised Fallout 4, and the highly anticipated DOOM title.
Both of the titles have had their shares of troubles, but majority of the critics have defined the games to have traits that will make them major chart-toppers. Fallout 4 has gone through troubles such as the extinguished supply of the Pip-Boy products, whereas DOOM carries big cargo in making sure that it lives up to the original title. The Elder Scrolls VI or Skyrim possibilities, though slim, may embrace the demand for a powerful component-a multiplayer mode.
As reported by Gaming Bolt, Bethesda has been known to have a great focus on the single player field for their games. But because of the ever-growing population of multiplayer patrons, the idea certainly may not be too bad to fetch. Though this may have a few downsides here and there for Bethesda, the concept of multiplayer for their titles, especially for the upcoming ones, may just be the cherry on top of the ice cream for their expansions.
iDigital Times delivered that the potential plot to the franchise may play an important role to how the game will be sold. Fans have grown hungry as time went by, and with only so much to offer, Bethesda has their hands full with other titles that they have currently spent some time on-not that Skyrim or its successors may not be of value, it just may not be the time to release one yet.
The Elder Scrolls VI or Skyrim 2 are an awfully sad inexistent word-of-mouth as of the moment, and until Bethesda opts to release information on such, it will remain as a rumor, and nothing else. Stay tuned for further news on the possibility of Bethesda's speculated title.
