"Grimm" inches closer to its fifth season that will see an upcoming Wesen uprising in the Northwest as Rosalie and Monroe hit a rough patch. Weeks before the season 5 premiere, NBC releases a sneak peek on Nick's father duties as Adalind gives birth to their child.
One of the most interesting plots in the upcoming season of NBC's "Grimm" is the co-parenting of Nick and Adalind. The two have not been the best of pals in the previous seasons as David Giuntoli's Nick resents Claire Coffee's character more than anyone does. But the latest sneak peek for the upcoming season sees Nick beside Adalind as she goes through labor. In an interview with KGW, Claire Coffee hints the scenario between the two as they try to raise their baby.
"We go from sworn mortal enemies to now raising this child together, so that, as you can expect, would have some wrinkles to that," Coffee said. "They're figuring out a way to live with each other and kind of work together for this child. That becomes the most important thing."
It seems the new season of the NBC series will highlight the relationships of the characters as Rosalie and Monroe will reportedly hit a rough patch.
Movie Pilot wrote that Rosalie's addiction to Wesen drugs will haunt her this season. Movie Pilot wrote that Bree Turner confirmed that her problem will come back, causing relationship problems with Silas Weir Mitchell's Monroe.
"Rosalee came onto the scene very guarded, dealing with a past of addictions, and that's been shelved for good reason...I think her addictions (are about to) come back into the story," said Turner.
Aside from relationship problems, a Wesen uprising is also one of the things that fans should watch out for in "Grimm" season 5. According to StarEntertainement.com, more Wesen are making their way to the Northwest and everyone will have to be prepared for their arrival.
Complexities are about to surround the new season of "Grimm." Nick and Adalind will have to find a way to raise their child while Rosalee faces her dark past once more, putting her relationship with Monroe at risk.
"Grimm" season 5 airs October 30 on NBC.
