Grand Theft Auto 6 has to be the most controversial installment of the popular Rockstar Games so far. Given that the last expansion of the game existed a few years back, fans may have gone a little too far wanting the game to emerge-or at least to make others believe that it has spawned.

According to Day Herald, a recently launched footage of Grand theft Auto 6 went viral online, showcasing multiple feats that seemed immensely legitimate to many fans. With it, various reactions have stormed the web, along with the stir of skepticism that revealed the reality behind it.

Christian Post stated that after a much more thorough look into the video, facts were revealed and have finally proven that it was, indeed, fake. As fans have believed that Grand Theft Auto 6 is slated for release around 2017 or even as late as 2018, the footage became believable at one point especially when locations such as New York and Liberty City, and another city which seemed to be in Europe.

As delivered by International Business Times, some of the details in the clip became a giveaway that the video was truly a hoax, such as the obvious insufficient control of the English language, which was distinguished as peculiarly not the same with other official Grand Theft Auto videos. YouTube personality MrBossFTW iterated as well that aside from all other factors that failed in making the video believable, the misspelling of the logo became the most abrupt trait to finalize the fake footage.

After Rockstar Games declared that their priority as of the moment is Grand Theft Auto Online, not any other installment that is only a mere rumor or hunch. Grand Theft Auto 6 cannot be anymore unclear than anything else, and fans have yet to get their taste of any concrete information about the proposed title. Keep posted for more updates on Rockstar Games and the future plans for the Grand Theft Auto franchise.
