UFC Travis Browne recently confirmed that he and UFC women's champion Ronda Rousey are in a relationship. Apparently, the mixed martial arts athletes have been close for a while now, and their friendship has blossomed into a sweet romance.
According to a report from Sherdog, on Monday October 12, UFC heavyweight Travis Browne confirmed he and Ronda Rousey are in a relationship. However, he refused to categorize their relationship as 'boyfriend and girlfriend.' It was during Monday's edition for 'The MMA Hour' that the 33-year-old opened up on the real deal between him and his new lady.
"Over the summer, through all the shit that I had to sift through, Ronda and I started talking," Browne explained. "I'll say now that we are together. She's my woman and I'm her man. There's no boyfriend-girlfriend stuff. There's no 'dating.' We're together," Browne confirmed.
As reported by TMZ, the UFC fighter recently filed for divorce after being accused of domestic violence by ex-wife Jenna Renee Webb. The story made headlines in July when his then wife posted pictures of the alleged assault, stating that she was attacked by her husband and needed to share the pictures as proof. However, Browne was later cleared of the allegations and has now cut off all connections with his ex as he continues to focus on his new relationship with Rousey.
In another report from E! Online, the 28-year-old bantamweight champ confirmed the news on Monday's ESPN. The brunette beauty added how she never talks about her private life; however, she is indeed in a relationship with the 6'7 fighter.
It was found out that the pair met two years ago when they partnered up at the Glendale Fighting Club in Los Angeles, but it was just recently that the couple became much closer. Browne later on added in his interview how hardworking his lady is, but is still a complete sweetheart outside the octagon. He also explained how their relationship wasn't planned, but things just fell into place as their closeness blossomed into romance for them.
With the confirmation of the new relationship between Travis Browne and Ronda Rousey, man fans of the unbeatable woman's champ were left heartbroken to know that they favorite star is officially off the market. Knowing Rousey to be the private type of person, one may not expect to hear much of their relationship despite both working in the same industry. For the time being, fans will have to wait and see for any updates of their relationship when the UFC couple will be spotted around town together.
