Breaking news has hit basketball fans across the world as former LA Lakers basketball player Lamar Odom was found unconscious in his room at a Nevada brothel. The ex-husband of Khloe Kardashian was immediately taken to the hospital, but has made no improvement and is said to be fighting for his life. After the sudden sad news, Khloe, who admits she still loves the basketball player, has become a complete emotional wreck and is said to be flying out to Lamar ASAP.
According to a report from TMZ, Lamar Odom is currently fighting for his life after falling unconscious at Dennis Hof's Love Ranch South in Pahrump, Nevada. The former Lakers basketball player is still alive but unconscious and is breathing through the assistance of machines. Although it has yet to be reported on what was behind the sudden serious incident, the 35-year-old athlete is still in a very critical condition.
Apparently, Lamar was found in his VIP private room unconscious with 'mucus-type liquid coming out of his nose and mouth,' by a female member of staff, on Tuesday afternoon. After immediately calling 911 at around 3.15 PM, the basketball player was taken to a nearby hospital before later on being transferred to a hospital in Las Vegas for further treatment.
In another report from The Guardian, Dennis Hof, owner of the Love Ranch, explained how he and staff members had picked Lamar up the previous Saturday from a Las Vegas house. According to Hof, the 6'10 player just wanted to get away, have a good time and relax. He also added how Lamar had been sleeping well since his arrival; however, after not hearing from him since early morning Tuesday, staff members started to worry, hence they checked up on him.
Hof later on added that Lamar had been taking a herbal Viagra and had drunk half a bottle of cognac since he arrived at the Love Ranch on Saturday. The 69-year-old owner denies knowledge of any other drugs the basketball player may have taken, and expressed his sadness over the incident
E! Online reported that his ex-wife Khloe Kardashian has been devastated with the news and has become an emotional wreck. The 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star is reported to be flying to Las Vegas as soon as possible to be with Lamar. Momager Kris Jenner and sister Kim Kardashian will also be accompanying Khloe during this devastating time.
Although the cause is yet to be known, police investigators have confirmed they are thoroughly looking into the case. Thousands of fans have been affected by the sudden heartbreaking news as updates of Lamar Odom's situation pours in. At this moment, Lamar is still unconscious and is fighting for his life and his current situation has been labelled as 'critical.'
