'Big Bang Theory' fans were hyped with rumoured real-life romance between Penny and Leonard. But the casts themselves Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki clarified that they are not dating.
The on-screen couple recently posted photos in Instagram to give their response to settle dating rumors. While their characters' relationship is getting exciting as Penny just recently became Mrs. Hofstadter, Cuoco said to leave her romantic relationship with Galecki at that.
"So sorry to disappoint, but no home wreckers or secret flings going on here. Me and @sanctionedjohnnygalecki are just the best of buds - Leonard and Penny will just have to suffice!!!" captioned the actress in her adorable picture with Galecki.
The 29-year-old actress has just ended things with her husband Ryan Sweeting. When news of the split broke out in September, fans started to brew speculations that Galecki could be the reason.
According to Huffington Post, Cuoco dated Galecki for about two years until December 2009. So when her relationship with Sweeting officially ended, media outlets suspected they would get back together.
But with the sweet and cute photos posted by Big Bang Theory co-stars and on-screen couple in Instagram, it seems that they're truly simply in love with their friendship together.
Galecki also posted a similar photo on the same day in his own Instagram post captioning it with: "No scandals/home wreckers/pregnancies here, y'all. Just profound friendship."
Meanwhile, a report by International Business Times revealed what to expect in the fifth episode of 'Big Bang Theory' Season 9. 'The Perspiration Implementation' is going to please 'Shamy' shippers as it will explore more in the relationship of Sheldon Cooper and Amy Farrah Fowler played by Jim Parsons and Mayim Bialik.
Penny and Leonard on the other hand are also expected to feature their romcom antics in the upcoming episode, giving light to the latter's athleticism.
